Everyone’s seeking attention—but who’s actually winning the spotlight?

What is the Egg-O-Meter?

The SCR Egg-O-Meter 🥚 is a proprietary scoring tool designed to quantify how supply chain and business executives are being portrayed in the media over the past 30 days. Using natural language processing (NLP), we analyze the tone of media mentions—positive, negative, or neutral—about specific individuals. The goal is to distill complex media coverage into a single score that reflects who’s gaining momentum—and who might be cracking under pressure.

These scores generated by algorithms that process the tone of coverage across trusted news sources. If an exec is in the headlines, we’re watching. But to ensure data quality and consistency, we only include individuals who have appeared in at least 50 media mentions in the past month.
